History

The UII Student Laboratory (LABMA UII) is a scientific organization at the university level that focuses on research and community service. Established in 2007 by a group of UII students, LABMA aims to create a platform for students to explore and develop their scientific skills. LABMA serves as a space for UII students from various disciplines to exchange ideas and collaborate on research projects, aiming to foster more integrated interdisciplinary research. In addition to research, LABMA is also committed to community service, demonstrated by a variety of social and community activities in LABMA UII's foster villages. LABMA’s community service programs (PM) extend beyond Yogyakarta to include initiatives in Central Kalimantan. This year, the network has expanded further to conduct PM activities in the Wakatobi region of Southeast Sulawesi.
