The Key to Success Towards a Qualified Leader

Menjadi pemimpin bukanlah sekadar memiliki kekuasaan atau memerintah orang lain. Sebaliknya, menjadi pemimpin adalah tentang bagaimana kita dapat mendorong orang lain untuk bekerja secara sukarela, dengan tulus, dan penuh inspirasi. Meskipun demikian, terdapat perbedaan yang jelas antara menjadi leader dan menjadi bossBeing a leader is not simply having power or commanding others. Instead, being a leader is about how we can encourage others to work voluntarily, sincerely, and inspirationally. However, there is a clear difference between being a leader and being a boss. An earlier defining paradigm, referred to as the” Great Man Theory", described the leader as being gallant, courageous, and charismatic. However, this concept has evolved over time. Today, the meaning of leadership is more identified with one's ability to influence and inspire others. It encourages a leader to be more than just a boss who gives orders, but also as a coach who directs, teaches, and inspires his team members.
It is very important to understand that some individuals who are in leadership positions do not meet the criteria of being true leaders. However, the question of why so many people want to become leaders arises as a result of this phenomenon. Without fully understanding the obligations and responsibilities associated with the position, he may answer with a desire to become a leader. A good leader must be able to adapt to different situations. Because uncertainty is a sure thing, a good leader has the ability to overcome uncertainty calmly and courageously.
In the midst of the many theories of leadership that exist, several concepts have been developed to help leaders and team members in establishing relationships, as well as achieving common goals more effectively.
Charismatic leadership is a person's ability to influence and inspire others with his charisma and personal appeal. Then, there is the transactional and transformational concept, where a leader not only guides his team members, but is also able to inspire them to achieve their best potential. It is also important to note the importance of authentic leadership. An authentic leader is one who is ethical, sets an example for others, and is fully aware of his or her identity and personal values. This creates a solid foundation for building trusting relationships between the leader and his team members.
Prophetic leadership is an interesting theory of leadership from other leadership, it includes the ability to control themselves and behave sincerely, imitating the attitude of the Prophet Muhammad. This means not only talking about good, but also acting according to believed values. In addition, being an effective leader also requires the ability to listen well. It is often found that the majority of people just want to be heard, but rarely listen to others earnestly. Therefore, being a leader should ideally be like an empty glass, willing to accept input from team members and build strong trust among them.
Being a qualified leader is not an easy task. However, by observing the aforementioned leadership principles, as well as with consistent practice and commitment, everyone has the potential to become a leader capable of voluntarily moving others towards the success of a common goal.
